Anasazi Petroglyphs...
Art is as old as time - an ancient tradition. If you scramble about the base of the 200-foot "St. George Black Ridge," you'll be amazed to find several basalt rocks displaying Anasazi petroglyphs dating back thousands of years. St. George Temple Quarry Trail...
The backside of the St. George Temple Quarry Trail, as it wraps around the southwest side of the area's "Black Ridge," beautifully frames the Whisper Ridge subdivision. The official St. George Temple Quarry Trail runs from the St. George airport to the western side of the "Black Ridge" adjacent to Whisper Ridge home sites. Approximately 2.1 miles in length, this natural surface trail provides a spectacular view of downtown St. George. As it curves around the Black Ridge's western corridor, sight seers are taken back by impressive views of Green Valley to the south and the cliffs of Snow Canyon to the north.
